Lincoln University enjoys a rural setting on the Canterbury Plains less than half an hour from Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand. Lincoln University is a quick 25 minute drive from the airport and the many popular tourist and recreational attractions of Canterbury. You can travel from the airport by car, taxi or shuttle. You can even catch the number 81 bus from central Christchurch that will take you right out to Lincoln University.

Set in pleasant rural surroundings, the venue is just 20 minutes' drive from central Christchurch, the international gateway to the beautiful South Island. Within two hours of the airport you can visit world class alpine ski resorts, play golf, bungy jump, go rafting, mountain biking, hot-air ballooning, wind surfing, whale watching, and visit world class wineries and gardens.
