Accommodation & Travel

On campus accommodation is available at the Lincoln University Halls of Residence. This Halls provide single rooms with shared kitchenettes/kitchens, bathrooms, TV lounges and communal laundries with washing machines and dryers. Included in the accommodation cost of $90 (GST Incl) per night is a supper and a full cooked breakfast, free on-campus internet access in specified locations and access to the gym. Note:  Bedding, linen and towels are supplied.

There are other motel and hotel options available in Christchurch if you wish to stay in the city (your own transport or allowing sufficient time to catch bus services to the University would be required). Here are a small selection:

Flights

Christchurch Airport is a 15 minute drive from the central city. There are daily flights (Air New Zealand, Pacific Blue)) to and from all major and provincial New Zealand airports There are a variety of taxis and shuttles available at Christchurch airport for transportation to the city and conference venue.

Airport Transfers

Lincoln shuttles run from the airport to Lincoln University and return. The cost is $15 - $40 per person, one way, depending on how full the shuttle is. Contact Geoff Nichol on 027 2310397 to book .

Car Parking

Lincoln University is the only University in New Zealand that does not charge for parking. Click on the map showing staff and student car parks available on campus. Parking is prohibited on yellow lines, gardens and pathways.
